Puppy Pads

Being “in the dog house” is never an ideal spot for a human. But for dogs, being in the dog house can be a luxurious locale after a long day of fetch and chasing birds around the backyard. That said, even your average canine aspires to own more than a cardboard box as a home.
Providing your pup with a suitable home isn’t too much to ask, right? These days, people are constructing dog houses from wood and plastic to resemble cabins, barns, and even your own home. Basically, you can get as elaborate as you desire. If you feel like setting your pet up with a home that looks like it should be resting on the French Riviera, go for it. However, purchasing a dog house doesn’t have to be like keeping up with the Joneses. It’s not likely that people are going to judge you on the type of dog house you own, but there are a few things to consider.
When dog house shopping, you want to consider the type and size of the dog. It might be deemed cruel and unusual punishment to place a 120-pound Rottweiler in a tiny pink dog house with floral designs. Contrarily, it’s probably a waste of space to give your chiwawa a 25-square-foot mini mansion. Also, keep your own taste in mind. Sure the house is for the dog, but it’s also in, or around, your home. This last tip might seem like a no-brainer, but we all know a thing or two about regretful purchases. So, make sure it fits your needs as well as your dogs.
